LA Weight Loss Diet
LA Weight Loss Diet program is all about sensible proportions. The diet counselors study the age, weight, height, medical history, and activity level of the person and devise a specific diet program accordingly. The diet menu is prepared by counting portions from the different food categories – such as proteins, fat, starch fruits and vegetables, and dairy - as per the data associated with each dieter. From the dieter point of view, he/she has to simply follow the food plan meted out to them by the diet counselors. Periodic counseling sessions backs up the diet schedule and any changes, if required, are incorporated in to the plan accordingly.
The LA weight loss diet program has three phases. The first one is the weight-loss phase during when the dieter’s food intake is limited to 1,100-1,800 calories per day, until the desired target is reached. It is followed by a 6-week stabilization phase, and in that interval, the focus is on maintaining the attained weight loss and to prevent any buildup. The final phase is counseling only (called maintaining program) and the dieter will be advised on food plans and teaches how to prepare food healthfully. Info on different food items, its nutrition value, and few tips on maintaining weight are also provided to the dieter during this session.
A typical menu of the LA weight loss diet program has a rough composition of 45% carbohydrates, 35% - 40% protein, and 15% - 20% fat. The dieters have no restriction in eating Mac and cheese, meat, steak and potatoes, fruits, and vegetables, and starches (even though the amount matters), but fat foods are very much limited. The diet company might advice on taking LA weight loss diet supplements and LA Lites – a protein bar - alongside the diet plan for better results, but it is not mandatory and is left to dieter’s discretion and choice. |
